Strategic Planning
We are recognized experts in strategic planning. We supply a national perspective; technical expertise in the qualitative and quantitative analyses supporting a sound plan; an objective, experienced third party to challenge conventional thinking; and process facilitation. We are particularly skilled at turning client data into rich, actionable information, because we are not afraid to ask difficult questions and resist “boilerplate” analyses.
Board Retreat Facilitation
We are frequently called upon to structure and facilitate annual Board Retreats, providing a national context for analyzing regional issues and strategies. While we are knowledgeable about the changing health care environment, our experience enables us to place current events into their historical context — often helping clients avoid the latest “fads” in health care.
System Development/Affiliation Planning
We have extensive experience assisting in multi-hospital network and system development. We have helped facilitate the formation of some of the country’s largest non-profit health care systems.
Governance Evaluation and Restructuring
We have assisted numerous hospitals and health systems in determining an optional governance structure — and in ensuring that roles, responsibilities, and authorities are clear.
